Correction Slip No. 1, Dated 03.03.2010 to the Document of Open Tender No. Civil/Ph-II/99 for "Arresting of seepage and leakage through expansion joint, gap between two girder, crack developed due to expansion/contraction of PSC/RCC girder in wearing coat in station area and its approach and removal and re-fixing reflective glass at all five station and other ancillary related works from Netaji (Kudghat) to Shahid Khudiram (Pranab Nagar) of extension of Metro Railway, Kolkata from Mahanayak Uttam Kumar to New Garia."

1. Under Schedule Item 4.01 & 4.02 of Section 4, for schedule of quantity and rate, description of wotk to be read as under instead of existing entry in the instant tender document

4.01	Providing & laying in three layer APP modified waterproofing membrane with non-woven polyster reinforcement (SUPER THERMOLEY) MOPLYFP - 4MM mineral finish or similar, a heavy duty APP polymer modified plastomeric bituminous membrane with polyster fibre reinforcement thermo fusible film on both sides and self protecting natural mineral finish on top, laid on a coat of primer @ 0.3kg/m2 or similar and a layer of OXYDISED BITUMEN 85/25 grade @ 1.2 kg/m2 or similar on well prepared clean and dry concrete surface by high performance heavy duty torched including providing 300mm to 150 mm overlapping, sealing the joints and raising the treatment area upto top of wearing coat in between two girder of UP & DN track. The minimum weight of membrane shall be 4.5 kg/m2. The rate also includes preparation of top surface, if any with all contractor's labours, materials, tools and plants,lead, lift, taxes etc. complete as per manufacturer's specification,approved drawing and instruction of Engineer. The minimum weight of membrane shall be 4.5 kg/m2.(+/_ 2Kg /m2). The rate also includes preparation of top surface, if any with all contractor's labours, materials, tools and plants,pump, lead, lift, taxes etc. complete as per manufacturer's specification,approved drawing and instruction of Engineer.
4.02	Expansion joint : Cheaping & Removing concrete etc and cleaning expansion joint along the length, thorough cleaning, painting the inner surface of gaps with SHALITEX primer or similar brand as approved by Engineer - in - charge confirming to IS : 1834 - 1984, leaving a gap of 50mm at top, applying SHALITEX confirming to IS : 1834 - 1984 grade 'A' @ 1.5 kg/m with all contractor's labours, materials, tools and plants, pump including all lead, lift, taxes etc complete as per manufacturer's specification.	Expansion joint : Cheeping & Removing concrete etc and cleaning expansion joint along the length, thorough cleaning, painting the inner surface of gaps with SHALITEX primer or similar brand as approved by Engineer - in - charge confirming to IS : 3384-1986, filling the gap between wall with SALITEX expansion joint board or similar brand confirming to IS : 1838 - 1983, leaving a gap of 50mmx50mm at top, applying SHALITEX compound confirming to IS : 1834 - 1984,grade 'A' @ 3 kg per m with all contractor's labours, materials, tools and plants, pump including all lead, lift, taxes etc complete as per manufacturer's specification.

2. 5th coluoum of the tender notice dated 01.02.10 at page iii of tender document, date of opening may be read as 08.03.10 in stead of 25.02.2009.

4. The correction Slip forms part of the tender document of tender no. Civil/PH-II/99 and therefore must be returned by the tenderer, duly signed as token of the acceptance while submitting the Tender as in case of all pages of Tender Document.
