The president of India, acting through the Dy. Chief Mechanical Engineer/NOA, Metro Railway, Kolkata invites sealed Tenders for the following works, from bonafide, reliable and established firm having adequate experience, expertise and financial capacity in the field of Sheet metal work involving profiling, jointing by riveting, etc.

Eligibility Criteria:
The Tenderers should fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below: -
|

a. |
The intending Tenderers should have physically completed similar nature of work i.e. “Sheet metal work involving profiling, jointing by riveting, etc” within the qualifying period i.e. the last 3 financial years and current financial year (even though the work might have commenced before the qualifying period) for a minimum value of 35% of advertised Tender value of work. |

b. |
The total value of similar nature of work completed during the qualifying period and not the payments received within qualifying period alone should be considered.
In case, the final bill of similar nature of work has not been passed and final measurements have not been recorded, the paid amount including statutory deduction is to be considered. If final measurements have been recorded and work has been completed with negative variation, then also the paid amount including statutory deduction is to be considered. |

However, if final measurements have been recorded and the work has been completed with positive variation but the variation has not been sanctioned, original agreement value or last sanctioned agreement value whichever is lower should be considered for judging eligibility. |

In the case of composite works involving combination of different works, even separate completed works of required value should be considered while evaluating the eligibility criteria. |

c. |
Total contract amount received by the tenderer during the last 3 financial years and current financial year should be a minimum of 150% of advertised tender value of work. In this connection Tender(s) has to produce attested certificate from the employer/client about contractual payment received for the work done, audited balance sheet duly certified by Chartered Accountant, attested copy of annual income tax return filed with income tax depts. etc. along with the tender offer. |

d. |
Three years period mentioned above shall be reckoned from the date of opening of tender in question as originally advertised. The extended date of opening, if any, shall not be taken into account for the purpose of counting the above period of three years.
Tenderer must enclose relevant certificates in support of above eligibility criteria in absence of which, their tender may be liable to be rejected.

Issue of Tender document will not however, automatically mean that Tender is fully qualified and Metro Railway reserve the right of assessing the capacity and the capability of the Tenderer to execute the contemplated contract, should the circumstances so warrant. |

| 4. |
Any delayed/ late offer shall not be considered. |

The Tender Document (NOT TRANSFERABLE) is to be obtained in person from the office of the Chief Electrical Engineer/RS, Dum Dum Car Depot Complex, Metro Railway, Kolkata-700090 on any working day (Monday to Friday from 10.00 hrs. to 17.30 hrs and Saturday from 10.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs) on the production of cash receipt for the sum as stated above, towards the cost of the Tender document, after depositing the amount with FA & CAO/ Cash & Pay, Metro Railway, Metro Bhavan (1 st floor), 33/1, J.L. Nehru Road, Kolkata – 700071 against the Head of Allocation 9365299 (O&M) on any working day (Monday to Friday). |

| 7. |
The Tender Documents can be viewed and downloaded from Metro Railway website www.kolmetro.com . In this case offer shall accompany the demand draft /pay order of Rs. 2000/- in favour of FA&CAO ,Metro railway, Kolkata as cost of tender document, failing which the Tender shall be summarily rejected. |

Tender Document is not transferable. |

| 9. |
Railway reserves the right to accept or reject any Tender without assigning any reason thereof. |

| 10. |

| 11. |
The closer time and date is fixed. In case the tender is not opened due to any unforeseen reasons, the same will be opened in the next working date at the same time as mentioned above . |
